The London Paper, Page 5. “A competition to come up with a design for London… has got the capital’s creative juices flowing. Moving Brands used Twitter to ask Londoners for their input. The firm’s founder, James Bull said: “The response has been fantastic.”

The Evening Standard, Page 3. “One of the firms in the running, Moving Brands, used Twitter to invite the public to take part in the creative process… Mr Hull [sic] Bull added: “What we are proposing is a collaborative way Londoners can shape the logo.” ”

    Whilst I accept this is motivated by a love for our great city please don’t let such a vital, amorphous, timeless entity be reduced to a jpeg, a t-shirt and a give-away mouse-mat. No Logo for London!

    Interesting that all London Lite, Evening Standard and The London Paper have all picked up on the smiley face idea.
